Braybank Estates Limited was set up in 2nd April 1998. The directors who serve on the Braybank Estates Limited board reside at Braybank and are Shareholders. The board members are elected at the annual AGM or in certain circumstances when required, members are co-opted onto the board in line with regulatory requirements. They invest their time on a voluntary basis and provide oversight and management of the Estate, working with the managing agent to protect the interests of the Shareholders/leaseholders.
Richard Severn is a senior executive with 50 years of international senior leadership experience. Having served in the forces and having successfully run his own international business, Richard brings a wealth of corporate experience to the Braybank Estate. He has served as a member of the board for over 5 years and was nominated as the chair of the board 2 years ago.
He has successfully implemented governance protocols, and provided oversight for ongoing projects for the estate.
Margit has over 30 years’ experience in real estate management and sales. She leverages on her knowledge of the local area and provides a sound understanding of property management. She has served on the Braybank board for close to a decade and uses her knowledge to support the monthly management and company secretarial requirements for BEL
Jane is a Chartered Surveyor with 26 years’ experience in commercial real estate asset management, from property acquisition through to sale. Jane’s prime role is increasing asset value through maintaining and improving income stream and strategic management, whilst cultivating tenant customer satisfaction with an approachable attitude and prompt response times. Jane also has responsibility for personnel and corporate policy matters for the small company where she has been employed for 33 years and her experience brings value to her role as Treasurer to BEL.
Amita is a senior executive with 40 years’ international experience in driving business success through strategic transformation initiatives anchored in customer experience management. She has a portfolio career and is the co-founder of a film/music venture as well as a scale-up consultancy. She sits on advisory boards as well as acting as a Trustee for a UN NGO Youth charity. She leverages on her legal experience and implementing governance structures to ensure due process to add value to BEL.
Gloria has a background in education and employability, having worked with Chambers of Commerce and educational establishments in the region. She has been an active member of the Braybank board and community for the last two decades. She has organised several of the community events including the annual summer party and the Christmas carols. She manages the health and safety portfolio along with overseeing the management and landscaping of gardens within the Braybank estate.
Peter has been living in Braybank since 2015 and joined the Braybank board in 2016. He brings with him close to four decades of international experience across the UK, South Africa, and the USA where he held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and operations for manufacturing firms before retiring in 2007. Peter oversees ongoing maintenance, repairs and general projects for Braybank working closely with the Managing Agent and respective suppliers.
